Overview on Consultant for Cybersecurity VAPT Implementation
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Zimbabwe is inviting qualified individual consultants to submit proposals for the implementation of a Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) process for the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ).
MCAZ plays a critical role in regulating, registering, and monitoring medicines and medical devices in Zimbabwe. As digital infrastructure becomes more integral to its operations, the organization faces increasing cybersecurity threats that could compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data. Strengthening MCAZ’s cybersecurity posture is therefore a top priority.
The VAPT process will support MCAZ in proactively identifying security vulnerabilities, simulating potential cyberattacks, and enhancing its overall cyber defense mechanisms. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring that MCAZ’s IT systems are resilient, compliant with regulatory standards, and well-protected against evolving cyber threats.
