Prophet Makandiwa Declares His Children Are Heaven-Bound
Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has once again sparked controversy after boldly declaring that all his biological children and parents are destined for heaven. The United Family International Church (UFIC) leader made the statement while addressing congregants, reigniting debate over his previous claims about his own salvation.
Clad in an all-white outfit, Makandiwa confidently told the congregation:
“This is my confidence, if you were to ask me, if I look at my relatives that are born again with no iota of doubt, I look at them, I know they are born again. You ask me are they going to heaven, they have entered heaven.”
“I have no questions about my parents”
Makandiwa went further to extend his declaration to his parents, telling congregants he had no doubts about their place in the afterlife.
He stated:
“If I look at my parents, I have no question mark. No matter how they talk to me, my parents, even if they are angry sometimes, I have no questions that they are going to heaven or not. I know what is needed for people to enter Heaven.”
Makandiwa said he was confident that he fully understood the requirements for entry into Heaven. His remarks come just a few years after a viral video in 2018 where he claimed he had already secured a “one-way ticket to Heaven”.
In that clip, Makandiwa said:
“If you get to Heaven, write this down, and you don’t find me there, you would have gone to hell. That’s not Heaven because everything that should be done for a man to secure his life in eternity, I have done it.”
“My biological children, all of them, are going to heaven”
Speaking passionately, Makandiwa told his followers that he sees heaven’s promise every time he looks at his children.
He declared:
“If I look at my children, God has blessed me with children. Every time I see them, I am seeing candidates of heaven. They have nowhere else to go. My own biological children, all of them they are going to heaven.”

The statements quickly spread across social media platforms, with many debating the implications. Critics accused Makandiwa of arrogance, arguing that no living person can claim absolute knowledge of another’s salvation.
Others compared him to Prophet Talent Madungwe, known for controversial claims about visiting Heaven frequently and having discussions with God and his angels.
However, supporters defended him. They pointed to his previous clarifications, including remarks he made in 2018, where he explained:
“Why talk about everything when the Bible says you just have to believe in Jesus? I said ask him if believing in Jesus is not everything that is required for Heaven.”
“This is the will of God, everything that is required by God for you to enter Heaven is available in His word.”
Mixed reactions from social media and followers
Reactions were divided. Some critics said only God knows who is truly destined for Heaven, and that people could fall from grace before death. Others said that Makandiwa, being a man of God, could possess spiritual insight ordinary believers might not have.
One social media user remarked:
“Statements about Heaven should be reserved for those who have finished their race. Life is unpredictable.”
Others felt inspired, with one follower writing:
“Thank you Prophet Makandiwa for affirming that faith can give us that certainty.”
Meanwhile, international rapper Snoop Dogg once endorsed Makandiwa’s earlier heavenly confidence. In 2022, Snoop Dogg shared Makandiwa’s quote on Instagram, captioning it simply: “Write this down.”
Despite the controversy, Makandiwa remains unshaken in his assertions, maintaining that faith and righteousness secure one’s place in the afterlife.
