Esther Chakaira Crowned First Brother In The House Zimbabwe Winner, Wins US$50 000
Esther Chakaira has made history as the first winner of Brother in the House Zimbabwe, walking away with the US$50,000 grand prize after emerging victorious in the inaugural season.
Chakaira was crowned on Sunday after making it through to the final five alongside Blessing Madhukuza, Phineas Jnr, Gwyneth and Queen Rufaro.
Chakaira Thanks Her Supporters
Following her victory, Chakaira turned her attention to the people who backed her during the competition, thanking fans who voted, shared her content and encouraged her throughout the season.
In a Facebook post, Chakaira and her handler expressed their appreciation to supporters, saying every vote and message had contributed to her journey.
“Every vote, every message, every share, and every word of encouragement meant so much to us,” they said.
They also thanked those who voted for her once as well as those who continued supporting her throughout the competition.
“Whether you voted once or countless times, please know that your support did not go unnoticed. You became part of Esther’s journey, and for that, we will forever be thankful,” the statement added.
Madhukuza Takes Second Place
Madhukuza finished as the runner-up and was rewarded with a brand-new car.
The other finalists, Phineas Jnr, Gwyneth and Queen Rufaro, also received prizes for reaching the final five.
Among the other rewards were a brand-new refrigerator and an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
First Winner Of Brother In The House Zimbabwe
Chakaira’s victory places her in the history of the reality show as its first-ever winner.
The inaugural season was launched as a local reality television project designed to showcase Zimbabwean talent and entertainment.
Her US$50,000 prize also stands as the biggest individual reward handed out during the first season.
