Cole Palmer’s four-goal Chelsea shirt fetches small fortune at auction

COLE PALMER‘S shirt from his four-goal thriller against Brighton has sold for a staggering fee in a record-breaking auction. The Chelsea star became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a single game.Palmer’s jersey was listed on MatchWornShirt, with the money going to Chelsea and the club promising to make a donation to their own foundation.

Before going on sale, it was provisionally authenticated by Fabricks – the most advanced technology in memorabilia. And that was enough to convince one superfan to stump up a whopping amount to get their hands on Palmer’s blue jersey, which he signed on the ‘2’ on the back.

Bids came in from around the world – including from the UK, USA, China and Australia. But the shirt is now on its way to Singapore where the winning punter offered £34,411 – pipping a rival bidder from the States.

And that was enough for Palmer to become the first Englishman to break into the top ten on MatchWornShirt sales.

In fact, only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are ahead of Palmer, who surpassed the highest total paid for a Kylian Mbappe shirt.

The talented England forward is maintaining the form that saw him register 25 goals for Chelsea last season.Chelsea fans and collectors scrambled to get their hands on this piece of football history.

Palmer’s shirt did not quite break Ronaldo’s English football record of £36,000 for a Manchester United jersey worn during his second spell at Old Trafford.
