Without naming names, Minnie took to Instagram on Tuesday, 29 April, and addressed the kind of criticism women like her face. She called out the double standards that expect women to be successful, but then shame them when they are. She wrote:
“The double standards are glaring…the reality is, society is still unkind to strong, independent women. But I’m grateful that I’ve been able to find new ways to thrive… forced me to explore other avenues and reshape my career on my terms.”
