Mbinga’s Ex Tells Women How to Attract Rich and Successful Men
Zama Hlophe, the South African former girlfriend of Zimbabwean businessman Tazvi Mhaka, has weighed in on how women can attract rich and successful men — and her advice might not be what you’d expect.
During a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories, Zama was asked where one can meet “high-quality individuals.” Instead of dropping names of fancy venues or exclusive events, she kept it real, saying she’s not the best person to ask because she rarely goes out. More importantly, she stressed that looking for wealthy men in high-end spaces is pointless if you’re not working on yourself first.
“This, I actually never know how to answer yazi, you’ll barely ever see me outside. I feel we all know the right places to go to and the best spaces to be in. Personally, I advocate for levelling yourself up FIRST, the men you want will bring themselves to you. Imagine day in, day out, you’re at 5-star restaurants amongst amazing men, but nobody, checking for you,” she said.

She encouraged women to shift their focus from chasing wealthy men to becoming the best version of themselves. In her words, when you’ve done the inner and outer work, the right men will naturally gravitate toward you — even if you’re not in their usual circles.
“WORK ON YOURSELF FIRST, unleash the prettiest, most healed, well knowledgeable and educated, well spoken, calmest version of yourself, you won’t even have to be in all these places, THEY WILL COME…. Also prioritise being iType yeType yakho, abafana abapheli, there, no rush. Qala ngawe,” Zama Hlophe wrote.
