“I Didn’t Remove My Ribs”: Madam Boss Reveals the Real Surgeries Behind Her Weight Loss

Social media personality and actress Madam Boss has clapped back at wild claims that she had her ribs removed to look slimmer. The star, known for her confident presence both online and on-screen, finally opened up about her body transformation — and the real reason behind it.

“No Ribs Were Removed – That’s Just Silly”

After online rumours suggested she went to extreme lengths — including removing ribs — to resemble pop icon Beyoncé, Madam Boss told H-Metro the rumours are nonsense.

She said people are free to talk, but she’s not living to impress anyone.

“I do not regret losing weight after that surgery, and I like my new look. Let it be known, I do not know how you are going to clarify this, handiraramire vanhu uye handina basa nekuti vanhu kana munhu anotikudii nezvangu. To put the record straight, none of my ribs were removed as some are saying. Do you think it’s real for one to live without ribs? I am yet to know if one can live without any of the ribs,” she said.

Madam Boss revealed that the journey began because of a medical condition. She didn’t go under the knife just to “have fun with surgeons” but because she was dealing with a serious health issue.

Her Weight Loss Started With a Health Scare

She explained that her body changed drastically when she lost weight, especially her stomach, which started sagging. That’s when she chose to go for liposuction, a surgical procedure that removes stubborn fat using suction.

“We have no control over some challenges; disabilities can happen, and we are left with no choice other than consulting a surgeon. I did not want to have fun with surgeons, but I had to face it. To me, it started as a weight loss journey due to the condition I had. After losing my weight ndakazowona kuti katumbu kangu kakanga kakungorembera. I decided to go for liposuction. Liposuction is a type of surgery. It uses suction to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the stomach, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. Liposuction also shapes these areas.”

To help keep the weight off, Madam Boss then opted for another medical solution — a gastric balloon, also known as an intragastric balloon. It’s a non-surgical device placed in the stomach to reduce appetite and help people eat less by making them feel full quicker.

“From there, I had to undergo a gastric balloon to remove fat. It is also known as an intragastric balloon, and it is a temporary medical device used to assist with weight loss. It’s a soft, inflatable balloon placed in the stomach through an endoscope to help reduce the amount of food someone can eat and make them feel full sooner,” Madam Boss explained.
