Kapfupi Finally Receives Wicknell Chivayo’s Car Gift After Drunken Blunder
Comedian Freddy Manjalima, who is popularly known as Kapfupi, has finally received his car gift from businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
This comes after he was initially denied the car and cash gift last week after he went to collect the car in a drunken stupor.

Kapfupi Drunken Blunder
Kapfupi recently reached out to Wicknell Chivayo, requesting a replacement for the car gift he had crashed in 2024. His heartfelt plea did not fall on deaf ears. On Sunday, 1 June 2025, Chivayo confirmed via Facebook that he had seen the message and decided to bless the comedian with another brand-new vehicle.
However, the handover was delayed after Kapfupi showed up intoxicated to collect the car last week.
Madzibaba Chipanga, who had been tasked with handing over the vehicle, refused to give it to him, citing the comedian’s visible drunken state and inability to drive.
Chipanga later contacted Chivayo to report the incident, even revealing that Kapfupi had also been under the influence during the previous car accident.

Kapfupi Grateful as He Receives Car Gift
However, taking to his Facebook account today, Kapfupi shared a video of himself at Madzibaba Chipanga Car Sale, receiving his new car — a Toyota Aqua.
Captioning the video, he expressed gratitude to God and to Wicknell Chivayo for gifting him another vehicle, after the first one he received was damaged in an accident.
Kapfupi revealed that he has not consumed alcohol since the day he was initially denied the car for showing up drunk.
He also declared that he will no longer be drinking alcohol going forward.
