Jah Prayzah Cancels US Shows Due to Visa Issues, Canada Unaffected
Jah Prayzah has cancelled his upcoming shows in Washington, D.C. and Dallas, originally set for July 4 and 5, due to delays in U.S. visa processing. The news disappointed many fans, especially those who had already bought tickets, booked hotels, and made travel plans.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Jah Prayzah said he was forced to cancel after a technical problem disrupted the visa application process.

He explained that while they made it to their visa appointments earlier this month, a mistake on the application forms meant they had to start over. By the time they tried to rebook, there were no appointment slots left before the scheduled shows.
“We attended our visa appointments earlier this month, but due to a technical issue on our application forms, we couldn’t proceed,” he explained. “That meant restarting the process and trying to get new appointment dates, and unfortunately, none were available in time.”
The musician also took a moment to shut down social media speculation suggesting the visas had been rejected.
“The U.S. Consulate was supportive and tried to assist in every possible way they could, but some things are simply beyond anyone’s control,” he noted.
Fans to Receive Refunds and Canada Shows Still On
Jah Prayzah thanked the U.S. tour organisers, DJ Nhunzi and Xcelerate, for doing everything they could to salvage the shows. He reassured fans that they would be fully refunded and promised that new U.S. tour dates would be announced soon.
Full refunds will be issued to those who purchased tickets in advance.
While the U.S. leg has been delayed, fans in Canada can still look forward to seeing Jah Prayzah live. His shows in Edmonton on July 11 and Toronto on July 12 are unaffected and will go ahead as planned.
“Everything is in place and we can’t wait to see you there,” he said.
