Zimbabwe ended their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier campaign on a high after defeating Namibia by seven wickets in a nail-biting final at Harare Sports Club on Saturday.

Tadiwanashe Marumani stole the spotlight with an unbeaten 74, guiding the Chevrons to victory with just four balls remaining.

Both Teams Through to World Cup

Despite the final result, both Zimbabwe and Namibia had already booked their places at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, after reaching the last two of the regional qualifying tournament.

The win capped off a flawless run for Zimbabwe, who finished the qualifiers unbeaten with five wins from as many matches.

The Chevrons will now shift their focus to preparations for the global tournament, buoyed by their dominant form and Marumani’s explosive batting display.
