Several Students Injured After School Bus Is Involved in an Accident with a Train
In a tragic development, a school bus carrying students was hit by a train at the Willton Level Crossing in Mutare this morning.
Twelve Versatile Academy College students were injured after their school bus collided with a train.
Fortunately they were no fatalities, the injured has since been taken to hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.

Pictures from the accident scene are circulating on social media.
According to the National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ), preliminary investigations indicate the bus driver failed to follow level crossing rules and tried to beat the train to the level crossing, resulting in the accident.
