CAPS United have added four players to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
The Harare club secured three foreign signings alongside an experienced local goalkeeper.
Malawian midfielder Precious Phiri joins from FC Platinum.
Fellow Malawian Vunga Uchizi arrives after an impressive spell with Silver Strikers.
Botswana international goalkeeper Victor James moves from Jwaneng Galaxy.
Meanwhile, veteran goalkeeper Washington Arubi returns as a free agent.
Arubi recently parted ways with South African club Marumo Gallants.
Arubi returns as CAPS reshape goalkeeping department
Arubi replaces Wallace Magalane, who is expected to leave the club.
Magalane reportedly lost favour after last week’s defeat to Triangle United.
His costly goalkeeping mistake sparked criticism from club president Farai Jere.
Meanwhile, Arubi brings valuable experience from South African football.
He previously represented University of Pretoria, SuperSport United, and Marumo Gallants.
James also strengthens the goalkeeping department with his international experience.
In attack, Uchizi provides extra pace and creativity on the wings.
Additionally, Phiri offers more quality and depth in midfield.
The four signings give coach Takesure Chiragwi more options for the remaining fixtures.
CAPS United now hope the new arrivals will revive their league campaign.
