Killer T has publicly apologised to Ambassador Kwame Tapiwa Muzawazi and his family. The Zimbabwean musician admitted sending threatening and insulting voice notes to Muzawazi.
He said the messages were sent through WhatsApp on October 4, 2026. Killer T also withdrew everything he said during the heated exchange.
Killer T takes full responsibility
The musician said he was shocked after hearing his own voice notes. He admitted he had been heavily intoxicated when he sent the messages.
However, Killer T stressed that alcohol could never excuse his behaviour.
“I take full responsibility and must be held accountable for my actions,” he said. He also admitted that his actions damaged his reputation and personal brand.
Furthermore, he apologised to young people who look up to him. The musician said he had failed his family, friends and supporters. He then directly appealed to Muzawazi and his family for forgiveness.
“This apology comes from the bottom of my heart. It is sincere,” Killer T said.
The apology follows a case involving threats directed at Muzawazi’s family. The dispute reportedly followed the death of a man who was mauled by dogs.
Killer T has now chosen to publicly retract his comments.
Musician vows to quit alcohol
Killer T also revealed plans to stop drinking alcohol completely. He admitted that alcohol abuse had affected his behaviour before. Now, he wants to use his experience to encourage others.
“I have abused alcohol before and now wish to be an advocate against drugs and substance abuse,” he said.
The musician also announced his intention to plead guilty in court. He said he does not want to deny his actions or waste the court’s time.
Killer T ended his statement by asking his family, friends and fans for support.
He also asked the Muzawazi family to forgive him. The musician said he deeply regrets his conduct. He hopes the experience will help him become a better example to others.
