“PLEASE FORGIVE ME”: Killer T Publicly Apologises To Ambassador Muzawazi After Cyberbullying Arrest

Killer T Publicly Apologises To Ambassador Muzawazi After Cyberbullying Arrest

Zimdancehall musician Killer T has publicly apologised to Ambassador Kwame Tapiwa Muzawazi following his arrest over alleged cyberbullying.

The musician took to Facebook to acknowledge sending threatening and insulting voice notes to Muzawazi on WhatsApp on 4 October 2026, saying he regretted his behaviour.

In a lengthy statement, Killer T wrote:

“I wish to unreservedly apologize to Ambassador Kwame Tapiwa Muzawazi as a person, the entire Muzawazi family and every Zimbabwean for my bad conduct. I admit to have sent Ambassador Muzawazi threatening, disrespectful and insulting words I can not type here. I sent them through audio voice notes to his phone via WhatsApp platform on 4 October 2026.

“I PUBLICLY RETRACT EVERYTHING I SAID AND SINCERELY APOLOGISE.

“I was shocked and could not even believe I had said those bad distasteful words and threats when I listened to the voice notes. I admit I have been abusing alcohol. I was heavily intoxicated at the material time but that is not an excuse. I should never have drunk alcohol to those levels in the first place. I take full responsibility and must be held accountable for my actions.”

‘I Have Failed My Family’- Killer T

Killer T said the incident had also forced him to confront the impact his behaviour could have on his reputation and the people who look up to him.

He wrote:

“I have not only failed myself, I have failed and tarnished my name and brand. I have also been a very bad example to all youths who look up to me as a musician and celebrity in Zimbabwe. I have failed my family and everyone who believed in me. PLEASE FORGIVE ME.”

He also made a direct appeal to Muzawazi and his family, asking them to forgive him for his actions.

“I am reaching out to Ambassador Muzawazi and his family humbly requesting forgiveness. This apology comes from the bottom of my heart. It is sincere. I may not be able to reverse the pain and damage I have caused but I can only hope that you will find it in your heart to at least forgive me.

“To err is human but to forgive is divine. I AM VERY SORRY.”

Killer T Vows To Quit Alcohol

The musician further said he had reflected on the incident and intended to stop drinking alcohol.

He said he wanted to use his experience to speak out against substance abuse.

“I have reflected deeply on my bad conduct and have resolved to quit drinking alcohol before it is too late. I have abused alcohol before and now wish to be an advocate against drugs and substance abuse.

“I regret my conduct and feel extremely bad. I hope everyone, my family and friends will help me to be a better exemplary person. PLEASE FORGIVE ME.”

He Says He Will Plead Guilty

Killer T was arrested on Monday over alleged cyberbullying and is expected to appear in court.

In his statement, he also addressed the impending court proceedings, saying he would accept responsibility for his actions.

“As a sign of sincerity and genuine remorse I will be going to court pleading guilty to the charges. I can never deny or attempt to waste the court’s time.”

The arrest followed a foul-mouthed tirade in which Killer T reportedly targeted Muzawazi, whose younger brother, Malcolm Muzawazi, died last week after being mauled by a pack of dogs.

Killer T had reportedly been defending the owner of the dogs, Gilbert Rumbwere, who runs Scorpion Car Sales.

Rumbwere was arrested and charged with culpable homicide at the Mbare Magistrates’ Court following Malcolm’s death.
