A woman claiming to be the mother of Ngizwe Mchunu’s child has accused him of physical assault.
She alleges the incident happened on 22 June 2026 and left her requiring hospital treatment.
Maskandi musician Khuzani Mpungose brought the allegations into the spotlight through a Facebook post.
Khuzani Mpungose Shares Woman’s Assault Allegations
Khuzani revealed that the woman contacted him privately through social media, seeking assistance.
She reportedly approached the musician after struggling to get police attention regarding her complaint.
Furthermore, she allegedly provided a video showing her condition following the reported incident.
A screenshot from the footage shows the woman sitting in a hospital wheelchair. She also appears with a drip attached to her arm.
The woman reportedly described her experience in a message accompanying the footage.
“I was heavily beaten by Ngizwe Mchunu, and my case wasn’t taken seriously and I’m also trying to get [Julius] Malema to assist me.”
Khuzani also explained how his involvement allegedly created tension with Mchunu.
According to the musician, Ngizwe discovered their interaction and suspected him of encouraging the woman to report the matter.
However, Khuzani rejected those suggestions and defended his involvement.
He maintained that the woman independently contacted him for help. He also claimed he had never possessed her contact details before.
Ngizwe Mchunu Previously Faced Abuse Allegations
This latest accusation follows previous reports involving Mchunu and his former partners.
His two wives, Lindi MaKhuzwayo and Floda MaMthimkhulu, previously spoke about alleged abuse.
In 2019, reports emerged that authorities had arrested the former Ukhozi FM presenter.
The arrest reportedly followed allegations that he physically assaulted MaKhuzwayo at their Phoenix home.
Earlier, in 2018, MaMthimkhulu also publicly discussed her alleged experiences of abuse involving Mchunu.
The latest claims have once again brought attention to the media personality’s previous controversies.
However, the allegations surrounding the reported June 2026 incident remain claims at this stage.
