Wealthy Doctor Drops Bombshell While Testifying About Jealous Girlfriends’ Feud
A prominent Harare doctor and business executive has admitted in open court that two women locked in a bitter feud involving smashed windows and witchcraft claims are both his girlfriends, while his legal wife remains at home working for a bank.
Harare Magistrate Hears Shocking Multi-Partner Confession
Dr David Madzikanda appeared before Harare magistrate Ms Lisa Mutendereki as a State witness and did not hold back. He confirmed that Tsitsi Mutseriwa and Millicent Murape are both his lovers. The Herald reports that the dramatic testimony unfolded on 1 July 2026 during a cyberbullying trial where Mutseriwa accused Murape of harassment.
“I never married Mutseriwa and will never marry her. I have only one wife at home who works in a bank,” Dr Madzikanda declared.
He revealed the feud ignited when Murape became pregnant, sparking jealousy in Mutseriwa. The tension boiled over in the first week of July 2025 when he visited Mutseriwa for lunch and Murape arrived unexpectedly.
“I am the owner of that property, therefore, the only person who had the right to report any property damage is me, not Mutseriwa,” he told the court.
Dr Madzikanda also alleged that Mutseriwa tried to leverage the case for financial gain.
“She held him to ransom and asked him to build her a house and buy a car for her to withdraw the case,” court proceedings stated.
WhatsApp Insults And Juju Claims Rock Love Triangle
Mutseriwa painted a picture of escalating hostility. She claimed Murape was originally her tenant before beginning a relationship with Dr Madzikanda. The situation soured rapidly.
“This woman is our lodger and now my husband’s girlfriend. She insulted me on WhatsApp and also broke my property’s windows,” Mutseriwa told the court.
“She accused me of bewitching her by saying that I placed a charm on her doorstep so that she would miscarry her pregnancy and lose Dr Madzikanda’s child.”
According to State papers, abusive WhatsApp messages began arriving on 5 July 2025 around 9 pm, with more following the next day. Murape allegedly smashed window panes with stones and boasted she would soon become the landlady.
Mutseriwa further claimed she once found the doctor inside Murape’s apartment and was forced to wait outside for roughly an hour. She also alleged Dr Madzikanda has four other wives.
Dr Madzikanda stated the child he shares with Murape was a planned arrangement. The case continues to unfold at the Harare magistrates’ court, promising more revelations about the tangled web connecting the prominent doctor and his warring girlfriends.
