Sikandar Raza Donates Food Aid to Zimbabweans Stranded at Border
Zimbabwe international cricketer Sikandar Raza has stepped in to assist Zimbabweans stranded at the border after learning that many were running out of food while waiting to cross.
In a message shared on his Facebook page, Raza expressed concern over the plight of those affected, saying he had been informed that fellow Zimbabweans were facing difficult conditions and urgently needed assistance.

200 Bags of Mealie Meal Dispatched
To provide immediate relief, Raza announced that he had partnered with Healthy Meal to send 200 bags of mealie meal to the stranded travellers.
He said the consignment would be delivered during the night to help ease the food shortages being experienced by those waiting at the border.
“Just found out that our brothers and sisters are stuck at the border and running low on food supplies. Through the partnership with healthy meal, 200 mealie meal will be sent to them tonight.”
The donation comes at a time when many Zimbabweans returning home have reported challenges, including long waits and limited access to essential supplies.
Message of Hope
Alongside the donation, Raza offered words of encouragement to those affected, expressing hope that they would complete their journeys safely.
“Wishing them safe travels and health,” he wrote, extending his support to the stranded citizens.
Raza’s gesture has been welcomed on social media, with many praising the cricketer for using his platform and resources to provide timely humanitarian assistance to Zimbabweans in need.
