‘Something Is Fishy’: Wicknell Chivayo And Wife Lucy’s Missing Heads Spark Wild Theories

Questions, suspicions and speculation have emerged over the missing heads of late businessman Wicknell Chivayo and his wife, Lucy, after the family confirmed that the remains were not recovered from the scene of last week’s fatal helicopter crash.

The revelation has prompted questions surrounding what happened to the couple’s heads after the helicopter went down at Kudenga Farm in Marondera, although the family has attributed the condition of the remains to the severity of the post-crash fire.

Family Confirms No Heads Were Found

Chivayo’s uncle and family spokesperson, Herbert Chivayo, addressed the issue on Sunday as he announced that the couple would be buried side by side at Glen Forest Cemetery in Harare on Thursday.

Herbert said reports circulating on social media claiming that the victims’ heads had been recovered were incorrect.

“I have seen on social media people saying that the heads were found, but that’s not true. No head was found,” he said.

His clarification has fuelled further discussion about the missing remains, with questions now being raised over the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.

Forensic Examination Ruled Out Suspected Head Remains

According to Herbert, forensic officials initially believed that some of the recovered remains could have been parts of the victims’ heads.

However, subsequent examination ruled this out.

“There are some remains which forensic officials suspected to be head remains, but they found out that they were not. That’s the situation,” he said.

The family has not indicated that the missing heads were recovered at a later stage.

Bodies Were ‘Beyond Recognition’

Herbert said the five people who died in the crash suffered severe burns after the helicopter went down in misty conditions.

The victims were Chivayo, Lucy, two pilots and a security officer.

He said the bodies were exposed to jet fuel, which caught fire following the crash.

“The bodies were burnt until the fire died on its own, so you can imagine what the status is like.

They were beyond recognition,” Herbert said.

Questions Surround The Missing Remains

The confirmation that no heads were recovered has become one of the most disturbing aspects of the crash aftermath, with speculation and theories emerging on social media.

Here are some of the comments;

@Czeditor;

Not possible from a head to be incinerated in a fire that is not accelerated and contained.
This could well be the most potent evidence that there was chicanery involved.

@zwelabon;

Did the heads get burnt or someone took them to where they know best?

It doesn’t make sense to me 😕.

This whole thing may be deeper than what we see.

@ImVeeMk;
