“Life Goes On”: Wicknell Chivayo Breaks Silence After Advocate Lewis Uriri Rejects US$250 000 Range Rover
Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has responded after Advocate Lewis Uriri turned down a brand-new 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography valued at US$250,000, as well as cash gifts from him.
Chivayo addressed the matter amid different opinions and comments circulating on social media over Uriri’s decision, saying he respected the lawyer’s choice and had no hard feelings.
He also used the opportunity to explain the history of their relationship, revealing that he had previously bought Uriri a Land Rover Discovery 4 worth approximately US$120,000 in 2024, among other gestures of appreciation.
“I have seen the DIFFERENT OPINIONS and comments circulating across various platforms regarding Advocate Lewis Uriri and my recent gesture. Let me respectfully put a few things ON RECORD, not to argue with anybody, but simply to provide context.”

Chivayo Recalls Past Gestures
Chivayo said his relationship with Uriri had extended beyond their professional dealings, describing the lawyer as someone he respected both as his legal representative and as a brother.
He said the US$120,000 Land Rover was among several gifts and experiences he had voluntarily given Uriri over the years.
According to Chivayo, he had also flown Uriri first-class for his birthday and taken him and his wife on holiday.
“Everything was always done voluntarily, FROM MY HEART, because I respected him as my lawyer, valued him as my brother and genuinely appreciated the exceptional work he has done for me,” he said.
Chivayo said he was grateful that Uriri had accepted his gestures in the past.

Respects Advocate Uriri’s Decision
Turning to the latest development, Chivayo said he would respect Uriri’s decision if the lawyer was no longer comfortable accepting gifts from him.
He said he would give Uriri reasonable time before accepting that the decision was final, after which he would simply move on.
“If today he has decided that he is no longer comfortable accepting anything further from me, I equally RESPECT THAT DECISION and harbour no hard feelings whatsoever at all,” Chivayo said.
He added that there were many other people who needed assistance and would be willing to accept it.
“The queue of people who genuinely need assistance and would gladly receive it is endless,” he said.
‘No Fight, No Grudge And No Drama’
Chivayo also sought to dispel suggestions that Uriri’s decision had caused a fallout between them.
He said he remained appreciative of the work Uriri had done for him and continued to respect him despite the decision regarding the latest gifts.
“His response was received with GREAT THANKS AND RESPECT. I still respect Advocate Uriri, I still appreciate everything he has done for me, and as far as I am concerned, THERE IS NO FIGHT, NO GRUDGE AND NO DRAMA.”
Chivayo said he was not interested in engaging in arguments over the matter, adding that he was content with his life and focused on his own path.
“I am far too comfortable, happy and blessed to carry any petty grudges, engage in petty fights or exchange unnecessary words with anyone. GOD IS BLESSING ME EVERY SINGLE DAY,” he said.
‘Everything I Do, I Do With Love’
Chivayo maintained that his gestures were intended as expressions of appreciation and said he would respect whether someone chose to accept or decline them.
“Everything I do, I do WITH LOVE. Whether somebody accepts or declines, the message of appreciation has already been delivered. We respect each other’s choices, wish each other well and LIFE GOES ON. 
”
