Rachel John, a 25-year-old influencer, recently joined a viral TikTok trend. She shared a photo of her mother while following the “I look just like my mommy” trend. Rachel is rumoured to be dating Springboks captain Siya Kolisi. Interest in her grew after fans spotted her beside Kolisi in Turin.
Fans first noticed her during the ATP Tour Finals. She sat next to Kolisi during the event in Italy. Rachel is half Dutch and half Nigerian. Previously, she shared her Nigerian culture through food. For example, she cooked Jollof rice for Siya and his brother.
Now, she shared a photo of her Dutch mother, Elske.
“Who’d you get your looks from?” read the first slide.
“I look just like my mommy,” reads the second slide.
Many social media users also joined the trend and shared photos of their mothers.
Romance Rumours Around Siya Kolisi
Rumours about Kolisi and Rachel began in late 2025. Fans again noticed her sitting beside him in Turin. Later, Kolisi appeared at Rachel’s birthday celebration in Jeffrey’s Bay. The event took place in late December.
Earlier this year, the pair travelled to Victoria Falls together. They went on what fans called a “baecation.” Interestingly, Kolisi and his estranged wife once honeymooned there in 2016.
However, the pair shared no photos together from the trip. Nevertheless, a fan spotted them boarding a Zambezi River cruise. This sighting strengthened rumours about their relationship.
Rachel recently returned to her home in Amsterdam. Meanwhile, both were seen in Los Angeles and New York in February.
Kolisi’s Past Marriage and Family
Kolisi married Rachel Kolisi for eight years. However, they announced their separation in October 2024. The couple share two children together. Their son Nicholas is 11 years old. Their daughter Keziah is nine years old.
Rachel Kolisi currently promotes her documentary and book. The project is titled Falling Forward.
In a recent interview, she discussed financial struggles in the marriage. She said she sometimes asked Siya for money for daily necessities.
“I had to ask Siya for money for pads, tampons and shampoo.”
