United States Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has slammed Vice President and now rival Kamala Harris for her performance at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) this week in Chicago, Illinois.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Glendale, Arizona yesterday, Trump called Harris a liar who “makes up crap” and accused the Vice President of focusing on him instead of discussing the U.S.-Mexico border or inflation.
“She blamed me for the border, I haven’t been there in four years. You saw it, I had the safest and best border we’ve ever had. She blamed me for the border. They lied so much. They lied about everything. She said I was involved with something called ‘Project 25’. I don’t even know what the hell it is.”
Trump’s comments came a day after Harris accepted the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination with a speech that laid down broad foreign policy principles and sharp contrasts with Trump with 11 weeks left until Election Day. In her speech, Harris also promised a middle-class tax cut at home, an end to America’s housing shortage and a secure southern border
