Wicknell Chivayo Gifts Ex-Q a Luxury Mercedes-Benz and US$10K
Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has once again made headlines after gifting veteran musician Enock Munhenga, popularly known as Ex-Q, a brand-new luxury vehicle along with a substantial cash package.
The flamboyant businessman announced that the award-winning artist will receive a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450, valued at US$110,000, as well as an additional US$10,000 in cash.

Taking to his Facebook page, Chivayo shared an emotional tribute celebrating Ex-Q’s contribution to Zimbabwe’s music industry.
“NDIRI MU SALALA…and you know what I mean!!!” he wrote, before praising the artist as one of the country’s finest RnB talents.
He described Ex-Q as “one of the ORIGINAL and FINEST RnB artists Zimbabwe has ever produced” and credited him for redefining urban music with his signature “chi salad” style.
Celebrating a Career Spanning Two Decades
Chivayo highlighted Ex-Q’s longevity and influence, noting that the musician has remained relevant for over 20 years.
“25 years later, he is still serving it STRAIGHT SALAD with unmatched SWAG and HARD WORK,” he said.
He also pointed to a catalogue of hits including Musalala, Mazirudo and Pandakaona, as well as newer tracks like Nzenza and Hatichacheme, as proof of the artist’s consistency.
According to Chivayo, Ex-Q played a key role in shaping Zimbabwe’s urban grooves movement and inspiring younger generations of musicians.
Recognition Beyond Music
Beyond his musical success, Chivayo commended Ex-Q for using his platform to promote social values, particularly in speaking out against gender-based violence.
Quoting one of the artist’s messages, he said: “Let’s LOVE our women, let’s NOT HARASS our women…” adding that such advocacy reflects “the mark of TRUE ARTISTRY.”
Luxury Reward and Cash Gift
As part of the gesture, Chivayo directed the musician to collect his new vehicle from a local dealership.
“Please go and see Victor at Exquisite Motors on Monday and collect your NEW 2025 Mercedes Benz GLE 450… your car is READY FOR COLLECTION,” he wrote.
In addition to the vehicle, Ex-Q will also receive US$10,000 “for fuel and pocket money.”
