CAPS United coach Takesure Chiragwi remains unfazed after his side lost ground in the title race.
The Green Machine now trails Castle Lager Premier Soccer League leaders Scottland FC by four points.
On Sunday, CAPS United settled for a goalless draw against Agama at Wadzanayi Stadium. As a result, Scottland extended their advantage at the summit.
Despite the setback, Chiragwi believes his team remains firmly in contention.
“We’re not even panicking, and we’re very comfortable with our current position,” said Chiragwi.
“We’re competing and there are some positives we need to take into consideration apart from scoring.
“I understand everyone wants the team to score and win, which is normal, but we’re playing a team that also wants to win and they defended very well to deny us a goal.”
Focus Shifts to Herentals Clash
Meanwhile, CAPS United have already turned their attention to the next challenge.
The Harare giants will face Herentals on Saturday as they continue their pursuit of league leaders Scottland.
A positive result could help them close the gap and strengthen their title ambitions.
