L’vovo, whose real name is Thokozani Ndlovu, has faced major challenges since suffering a stroke.
The musician recently shared details of his experience during an interview with Gagasi FM’s Linda Sibiya.
His health battle began in December 2022 when he collapsed during a live performance.
Emergency responders rushed him to hospital, where he later spent several weeks receiving intensive care.
The stroke affected his speech and movement, leaving him unable to walk or communicate normally.
However, L’vovo continued fighting and gradually made significant progress during his recovery.

L’vovo opens up about his difficult journey
L’vovo previously revealed how dramatically his life changed after suffering the stroke.
“I never imagined my life would change so suddenly,” said Ndlovu as per IOL.
“There were days when I questioned whether I would ever stand on a stage again. But God gave me another chance, and I chose to fight every single day. If my story can inspire even one person not to give up, then every struggle has been worth it.
“I suffered financially because I wasn’t working or receiving any bookings. I had to move back home. I was scared to go outside and be seen by people,” he continued.
“My real friends would come, cook for me, and take care of me. I received words of support. I also lost many people.
“I was unable to speak properly or project my voice. So, making music simply wasn’t an option.”
Despite those setbacks, L’vovo has continued rebuilding his life and reconnecting with his supporters.
His visit to Naturena offered another positive moment after years of personal and professional challenges.
