Wicknell Chivayo Expresses Disappointment After Enzo Ishall Sells US$145 000 Gifted Car for US$60 000
Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has opened up about musician Enzo Ishall’s decision to sell a luxury vehicle he had gifted him.
Chivayo said he was stunned after receiving a call from a car dealer about the vehicle.
According to the businessman, the car had initially been purchased for US$145 000.
Enzo Ishall offered the car to the dealer for just US$60 000, representing a substantial drop from its original purchase price.

‘I have no problem with him selling it’
Speaking on the Denny J Show, Chivayo said he does not object to Enzo selling the vehicle.
However, he took issue with the musician’s reported claim that he had received the car for free.
Chivayo said the luxury vehicles he gives to artists are purchased using money he has worked hard to earn.
He was therefore disappointed by the suggestion that the vehicle had cost Enzo nothing.
The businessman said he was particularly surprised after learning that Enzo Ishall told the dealer the car was too expensive to maintain.
The musician reportedly wanted to sell it because he needed the money at the time.
Chivayo says Enzo could have asked for help
Chivayo said Enzo should have approached him directly if maintaining the vehicle had become a financial burden.
He suggested that the situation could have been handled differently through a private conversation.
According to Chivayo, he would even have considered buying the musician a house if Enzo had explained his circumstances.
He questioned why the musician chose to sell the expensive vehicle at a significant loss instead of seeking assistance.
US$85 000 gap raises eyebrows
The reported sale price has also caught Chivayo’s attention.
A vehicle bought for US$145 000 being offered for US$60 000 means a difference of US$85 000.
Chivayo suggested that Enzo gave up a considerable value by selling the car for a fraction of its original value.
The businessman said the situation was especially difficult to understand because he had been willing to help the musician if maintenance costs were becoming unmanageable.
