Woman Lures Sister-In-Law To Harare Under False Pretences To Chase Her From Her Mother’s House

Many netizens have been left infuriated after a woman lured her sister-in-law to Harare under false pretences of being helpful, only to switch off her phone when they arrived.

According to a post on ZimCelebs, a good Samaritan shared a story about a family that committed to chasing their daughter-in-law and her children from their home.

The good Samaritan met the woman who was stranded in the CBD with her two infant children, who appeared to be twins. In his own words, he shared that she looked so lost and close to tears that he stopped and asked what the issue was.

The woman narrated to him that she had been called to Harare by her sister-in-law, Charity Chinyani, who promised to give her clothes and food for the kids. Upon her arrival in Harare, the sister-in-law’s phone was not reachable.

Woman lures sister-in-law to Harare

According to the stranded woman she only knew that Charity worked in Sunningdale close to MWOS. Charity then ghosted her sister-in-law till she slept at the police station with her kids.

After the good samaritan called Charity, she answered and then hung up on him after heearing what he had to say. She later textd after they kept calling saying she was busy at work. After more calls she texted

Shame sorry hake but handichakwanise kumutora ,Brian moved on aisakwanisa kugara nemunhu asina kudzidza.Vana vedu tovana iye ndiye watisisade and pamusha wamai vedu paari kugara ari kutovaomesera saka ndamutinhira kuHarare

This translates to Charity could no longer take in her sister-in-law and her kids because her brother Brian moved on. Brian did not want to live with an uneducated woman. The family still loved Brian’s kids but no longer wanted the daughter-in-law. She has lured her to Harare because her mother was complaining about living with
her.

The husband named Brian had left for South AFrica in February after his wife sold her goat for his bus fare.

Zimbabwean rally to help the woman

The stranded woman broke down after the text and asked where she could sell her phone for busfare. The good samaritan borrowed and gave her $9 instead so that she goes back home. By time of publication, the good samaritan was yet to call the woman for an update.

After the post was shared many Zimbabweans are asking for her details so as to help her and her children. Some are even calling for Charity to be fired from her job.
