Willard Katsande has made an encouraging start to life at FC Oden, winning five of his first six matches as head coach of the Zimbabwean Northern Region Soccer League side.
The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder has remained unbeaten since taking charge, providing a timely boost as he looks to establish himself in coaching after a difficult spell at his previous clubs.

Five Wins And A Draw
Katsande’s early record has caught the attention of FC Oden, with the club publicly praising the impact he has made since his appointment.
According to KickOff, the 40-year-old has overseen six matches so far, collecting five victories and one draw during the unbeaten run.

He has now coached six games, recording an impressive five wins and one draw, remaining unbeaten since taking charge.

Katsande Gets Fresh Start At FC Oden
The impressive run comes after Katsande experienced a turbulent period at the beginning of his coaching career.
He joined FC Oden on July 30 after leaving Grand Legacy FC, where his time in charge lasted only two months.
Before that, Katsande had also parted ways with Chinhoyi Rangers in May following another two-month stint.
His move to FC Oden therefore represents his third coaching position of the year, making the strong opening to his latest assignment particularly significant as he seeks greater stability on the touchline.
Kaizer Chiefs Legend Building Coaching Career
Katsande enjoyed a successful playing career and became a popular figure during his time at Kaizer Chiefs, where he established himself as a tough-tackling midfielder.
He is now attempting to build a new chapter in football from the dugout, with his early results at FC Oden giving him a promising platform to work from.
