Zimbabwean cricketer Brad Evans has once again grabbed the spotlight, but this time off the field.
A picture of him rocking Zimbabwean flag-themed speedos has gone viral, sparking laughter and banter across social media.

Return to the National Team
The all-rounder recently marked his comeback to the Zimbabwe ODI squad for a two-match series against Sri Lanka in August 2025. Evans last featured for the Chevrons in July 2023, making his return after more than two years away from international action.
Over the years, the 27-year-old has played 15 ODIs for Zimbabwe, taking 13 wickets. He remains best remembered for his stellar five-wicket haul against India in 2022, where he finished with figures of 5 for 54, becoming just the third Zimbabwean to achieve the feat.
Famous for Heroics Against Pakistan
Beyond his ODI achievements, Evans cemented his name in Zimbabwean cricket folklore during the 2022 T20 World Cup. He defended 11 runs in a tense final over against Pakistan, steering Zimbabwe to a famous one-run victory.

His latest viral moment came after Zimbabwe’s victory in the T20 World Cup qualifying tournament. Evans, all smiles in the dressing room, posed with the trophy while wearing only Zimbabwean flag-themed speedos, flag socks, and with a flag half-tucked into the silverware.
