Air Zimbabwe Restores Normal Harare-London Flights After Recent Disruption

Air Zimbabwe has announced that its Harare-London Gatwick service is back to normal after last week’s cancellation of Flight UM724 due to operational reasons. The airline confirmed on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, that all scheduled flights were operating normally and advised affected passengers to continue with their travel plans.

Air Zimbabwe Confirms London Flights Are Back

The Herald reports that the national airline has restored its normal flight schedule following the disruption that affected last Friday’s London-bound service.

In a statement, Air Zimbabwe said:

“Air Zimbabwe wishes to advise its valued passengers and stakeholders that normal flight scheduling has been restored. All Air Zimbabwe flights are operating as scheduled.”

Passengers travelling on Flight UM724 have been advised to check in three hours before departure.

Air Zimbabwe Reveals Latest London Ticket Prices

The airline also confirmed that one-way fares start from US$720 (about R11,880), while return tickets start from US$1,412 (about R23,298).

Air Zimbabwe thanked customers for their patience during the disruption.

“We extend our sincere gratitude to all passengers and stakeholders affected by the recent disruption. Your understanding, patience, and continued loyalty have been deeply appreciated.”

The airline said it remains committed to providing a safe, reliable and efficient Harare-London service.
