Boity Thulo at Risk of Losing Her Multi-Million Rand Gauteng Mansion
Media personality and rapper Boity Thulo may lose her multi-million-rand home in Centurion, Gauteng.
This comes after she was dragged to the Johannesburg High Court over an outstanding loan.
According to the Daily Sun, Leemark Financial Services is suing Boity for failing to fully repay a loan used to purchase the property, valued at R4.2 million.
The lender has applied for a default judgment that could result in her home being attached and auctioned if she does not settle the debt.

Dispute Over Outstanding Balance
According to court documents, Boity bought the home on 5 August 2021, with the property officially registered in her name on 30 March 2022.
According to Leemark’s representative, Mark Lauth, Boity has paid R3.7 million toward the purchase price but allegedly failed to pay the remaining R491,813.
Lauth claims that repeated requests from his lawyers asking Boity to settle the outstanding balance went unanswered. In court papers, he stated:
“Wherefore the plaintiff prays for judgment against the defendant for payment of the amount of R491,813,00.”
Legal Warning Issued
Lauth emphasized that if Boity wishes to dispute the claim, she must file a notice of intention to defend within 10 days. Failing to do so could result in a judgment being granted against her without further notice, potentially paving the way for an auction of her home.
The lender confirmed that no out-of-court settlement discussions have taken place. Lauth also hinted that the dispute may involve matters beyond the original bond, but did not provide further details.
Boity Responds
When approached for comment, Boity said she was shocked by the lender’s move:
“They want to sell my house. You just ruined my day,” she said.
