Khama Billiat shines as Scottland sink Mwos

Defending Premier Soccer League champions Scottland FC returned to winning ways on Saturday. They edged MWOS 1-0 at Ngoni Stadium.

After three consecutive draws, Scottland finally found their scoring touch. Previously, they dominated matches but failed to score.

The breakthrough came when Khama Billiat linked up with Mafios Chihweta. Billiat then slotted home the only goal. As a result, the goal secured three points and ended their scoring drought.

Coach Norman Mapeza praised the performance and teamwork. “Very happy with the play, especially the build-up to the goal. Mafios had a brilliant run, and Khama showed great determination to get up and score. It is huge for us because we needed to bounce back after playing well in recent matches,” he said.

Meanwhile, coach Lloyd Mutasa admitted missed chances cost his team. “We had our moments, but we could not capitalise. We just need to keep working hard,” he said.
