Authorities in the United States arrested Sean Diddy Combs hours after he went out in public and was seen taking selfies with fans on Monday in New York.

Homeland Security Investigations officers arrested Diddy at the Park Hyatt New York in Manhattan at 8:30 p.m. last night after a grand jury decided he should face charges. He is expected to appear in court today.
The US attorney for the Southern District of New York confirmed the arrest on social media yesterday:
“Earlier this evening, federal agents arrested Sean Combs based on a sealed indictment filed by the SDNY. We expect to move to unseal the indictment in the morning and will have more to say at that time.”
The exact charges are not yet public, but Marc Agnifilo, Diddy’s lawyer, said he thinks his client is being accused of crimes related to racketeering and s_x trafficking.

Just after sunset on Monday, Sean Diddy Combs was walking in the streets of Manhattan with his son, King Combs.
Diddy was swaggering in khaki track pants, a black T-shirt, and a matching overcoat. TMZ reported that Diddy even stopped in the streets of New York to interact with fans and snap selfies. It was evident that months after a federal raid on his property, the mogul never suspected he would be whisked away by the FBI hours later.
A law enforcement source confided to TMZ that the FBI had planned to arrest Diddy on Tuesday, 17 September. However, something yet to be disclosed happened, leading to Diddy’s ambush and arrest.
His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, commented on the sudden arrest:
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sean “Diddy” Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community.
“He is an imperfect person but is not criminal. To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation, and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
