Popular gospel musician Mambo Dhuterere has finally spoken out about why he left his heavily pregnant wife, Dorcas Vambe, also known as Mai Dhuterere.
The gospel star made headlines recently after a tabloid reported that he abandoned his eight-month-pregnant wife and their four children.
Inside the Troubled Marriage
According to a source close to Mai Dhuterere, their marriage had been troubled for years, but she tried to keep their problems private to protect their image. The source said Mambo Dhuterere’s behaviour changed when he found out she was expecting again. He reportedly packed his travel documents and clothes and disappeared without telling anyone where he was going.
The source also claimed that Mambo Dhuterere blamed his wife for bringing him bad luck, especially after he failed to get a car from businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

Breaking his silence in a video shared by socialite Joey Nyikadzino, Mambo Dhuterere shared his side of the story. He claimed that Mai Dhuterere had a habit of dressing down the people who wanted to work with him, which he says cost him important financial opportunities.
