The Ten Toes hitmaker also revealed that he will be visiting Brazil. With an illustrious career spanning years, the muso has fast become one of the most followed acts in the entertainment industry.

Against the news, fans and fellow celebrities have since reacted to the news.

Popular comedian Ofentse Mwase commented, “We all know South Africa is the best Country in the World. You are Welcome, brother.”

Many celebrities, including Uncle Vinny, Ayanda Thabethe, and Bontle Modiselle, have since welcomed the news of his visit.

On the other hand, other fans were quick to implicate his gender-based violence cases into the mix.

Despite his big wins, Chris Brown has had his fair share of drama. He was once dragged to the courts for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

According to reports in one of the incidents, he assaulted Rihanna in a Lamborghini the night before the 2009 Grammys.

In 2023, Chris Brown once complained about ‘people still hating him’ for assaulting Rihanna. Over the years, his woes have taken a toll on his tours.

Ahead of his X Tour in South Africa in 2015, several organizations wanted his tour to be canceled because of his assault cases.

After all, this is not the first time the star has been in South Africa. With his latest post, Chris Brown will be heading there for the third time.

Rumour has it that the muso visited South Africa before his X Tour. In April 2015, he performed live at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg and the Moses Mabhida People’s Park in Durban.

Many find it puzzling that he was part of the star-studded cast of Generations: The Legacy.

Chris Brown was cast as himself in 2008, and his storyline was to encourage Ajax, played by Sipho ‘Psyfo’ Ngwenya, after he was involved in a motorbike accident days before he was set to go on a musical tour.

Of interest, Andile Ncube also hosted Chris Brown and tagged Mzekezeke, who mocked Chris Brown live on TV.

In addition to his visits, he has worked with several South Africans and even featured 14-year-old Naledi Aphiwe in 2023.
