Revealed: British-Nigerian Inluencer Died After Penis Enlargement Procedure During Thailand Getaway With Zimbabwean-Born Wife
A luxury trip to Thailand ended in tragedy for British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, who died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure.
Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, was 43 when he travelled to Bangkok with his Zimbabwean-born wife, fashion designer Daniella Simba Allen.
The couple were reportedly enjoying their trip when Ubiribo underwent the cosmetic procedure at a clinic in March.
The procedure involved injections of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine into his penis.
What followed turned the holiday into a medical emergency.
Sudden Collapse After Procedure
After the procedure, Ubiribo and Daniella reportedly went for a massage.
During the outing, he complained of chest pain before collapsing.
He reportedly regained consciousness but collapsed again shortly afterwards.
He was rushed to hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism.
The condition occurs when a blood clot blocks an artery supplying the lungs and can become life-threatening.
Medical staff reportedly performed CPR for more than 100 minutes in an effort to save him.
However, their attempts were unsuccessful and Ubiribo died on 6 March.
Coroner Links Death To Cosmetic Procedure
A postmortem examination conducted in the United Kingdom reportedly found material in Ubiribo’s lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure.
The finding became central to the investigation into his death.
A coroner subsequently ruled that the cosmetic procedure had caused the pulmonary embolism that ultimately killed him.
The ruling has drawn attention to the potentially serious complications associated with cosmetic procedures.
His death has since attracted significant attention because of the unusual circumstances surrounding the procedure and the subsequent medical emergency.
