The fatal incident involved a tow truck and a Hyundai bakkie carrying 24 members of the Zion Christian Church. The group was en route to Dukuduku near Umtubatuba when the tow truck struck their vehicle from behind. Emergency services rushed survivors to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
