Married At First Sight Star Themba Khosa Accused Of Lying To Two Women At Once

Married at First Sight South Africa star Themba Khosa, a participant on the show’s second season, whose real-life fiancée of eleven years has stepped from the shadows to tell a story of breathtaking betrayal. Sponono Radebe, the mother of Khosa’s two children, has come forward with a devastating account of deception, revealing that the man professing love to a new TV bride was, in fact, promising to return to his family all along.

The shocking details were laid bare on the Engineer Your Life podcast, hosted by Lungelo KM. Radebe described the moment her world began to unravel, stating that she discovered Khosa’s television ambitions entirely by accident.

“I had no knowledge whatsoever of his application to the programme,” she revealed. “I only chanced upon the evidence in December, or perhaps it was early January, when I saw emails on his laptop from the production company confirming his progression to the next stage. He never once consulted me. He simply proceeded on his own.”

Despite the shocking discovery, Radebe explained that Khosa expertly managed her concerns with a calculated reassurance. He framed the entire experience as a temporary, transactional endeavour, a brief interruption to their family life.

“He assured me it was merely a six-week deployment, like a work contract,” Radebe recounted, her disbelief still palpable. “He told me that after the show concluded, he would simply come back home. He made me believe that nothing of consequence would occur, and I, trusting the man I loved, believed him.”

This promise of a normal life resuming after the cameras stopped rolling now stands as a cruel monument to his duplicity.

The charade, however, began to collapse almost immediately after filming commenced. The man she knew became distant and unreachable.

“The calls went unanswered, and when we did speak, it was only to argue,” she said.

The final, soul-crushing blow came when Khosa, during on-screen counselling sessions, admitted he no longer saw a future with her.

“I wrote to the programme after just one week of shooting because the man I knew was gone,” Radebe recalled. “He claimed that through their counselling, he had realised our relationship could not continue. That admission shattered me.”

A Family’s Shocking Betrayal

The most profound sense of betrayal was compounded by an event Radebe describes as a calculated ambush. Agreeing to what she understood was a mediation meeting, she found herself confronted with a new, painful reality.

“I was completely blindsided. I arrived to find that his entire family had already accepted his new television wife,” she explained. “This was never part of any agreement we had. When I confronted his mother, she denied he was in another relationship, but I cannot truly blame her. He is the favourite child. Whatever narrative he presents, she follows.”

Despite the immense personal pain, Radebe expresses a poignant solidarity with the woman now married to her former partner on television, Nelisa Ntabeni. She places the blame squarely on the shoulders of the man they both loved.

“She is an innocent party in all of this. She was deceived, just as I was. We are both victims of a man we loved dearly,” Radebe stated. “The problem is, we loved a version of him that simply does not exist. The person I see on that screen is a stranger; he is not the man I built a life and a family with for over a decade.”
