Sakupwanya Reflects On Their Bond

Sakupwanya, who described Chivayo as both a business partner and a close friend, said the two had supported each other through difficult periods and celebrated their successes together.

“Ours has been a journey of PRAYER, of PURPOSE, and of PROGRESS.

We prayed together when the road was dark. We built together when many doubted us. We stood close to each other through storms, through victories, through it all.”

He also reflected on their rise from humble beginnings to the business world, crediting their partnership and faith for helping them overcome challenges.

‘Loyalty Is Wealth’-Scott Sakupwanya

In the tribute, Sakupwanya said Chivayo had taught him important lessons about friendship and commitment, particularly the value of building something together rather than focusing on personal gain.

“You taught me that loyalty is wealth. That true friendship is not about what you get, but what you build together,” he wrote.

Despite Chivayo’s death, Sakupwanya said the businessman’s influence and the bond they shared would endure.

“Though you are going, your mark remains. Your brotherhood remains. Your legacy remains,” he added.

He concluded the farewell by wishing his late friend well, expressing his faith that Chivayo would continue to be lifted and protected by God.

“Go well, my brother. The heavens are open for you. May God continue to lift you higher and protect you in your next chapter,” Sakupwanya wrote.
