US Deports ‘Uniquely Barbaric’ Criminals To Eswatini—Says Their Home Countries Refused To Take Them Back

US Deports Murderers To Eswatini After Laos, Cuba And Yemen Refuse To Take Them

In a startling move, the United States has deported a group of foreign nationals described as “criminal illegal aliens” to Eswatini after their countries of origin allegedly refused to accept them back. According to a post by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the individuals were expelled on a third-country deportation flight due to what was described as their “uniquely barbaric” behaviour.

“Today, DHS conducted a third country deportation flight to Eswatini. These criminal illegal aliens are so uniquely barbaric that their home countries refused to take them back,” the official DHS account posted on X at 2:47 AM on 16 July 2025.

The post added:

“Under the leadership of Secretary Kristi Noem and President Donald Trump, we are removing these convicted criminals from our soil so they can never hurt another American victim.”

Long Criminal Histories Detailed

The DHS provided detailed summaries of the individuals’ criminal records, naming their countries of citizenship.

“CITIZEN OF LAOS: Convicted of second-degree murder and burglary (forced entry); sentenced to 20 years confinement. Also convicted of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon,” the post read.

Another entry noted:

“CITIZEN OF CUBA: Convicted of first-degree murder and aggravated battery. Also convicted of aggravated battery of a police officer, grand theft-auto, aggravated flight from law enforcement and reckless driving. Sentenced to three years confinement. Confirmed Latin King street gang member.”

A third entry referred to:

“CITIZEN OF YEMEN: Convicted of second-degree homicide, assault and battery, cruelty to dependent adult, and assault with intent to do great bodily harm. Sentenced to 17 days confinement.”

Outrage In Eswatini

The revelation sparked fury online, particularly among Eswatini citizens, who expressed disbelief that such a transfer had occurred without public knowledge or government transparency.

One user, claiming to be from Eswatini, wrote:

“As a citizen of Eswatini I am beyond bemused and disgusted at this revelation. The country has no capacity at all to import and restrain such hardened criminals. This was also done under a cloud of secrecy without parliamentary involvement.”

Another posted:

“No no no! There are enough paedophiles and child kidnappings in Swaziland. The jails are also full. Please keep them.”

There were repeated questions about what arrangements had been made with the Kingdom of Eswatini.

“What happens to them now? What arrangement does the US have with Eswatini? I hope they’ll be in prison there,” one user asked.

As of now, the Eswatini Government has not issued a formal statement confirming or denying the arrangement. A user tagged the official Eswatini government X account and demanded clarity:

“@EswatiniGovern1 is this true? If yes, why? What did we do to deserve this?”

Another concerned citizen stated:

“King Mswati doesn’t care because he knows that those dangerous criminals won’t be his problem as they are in transit to the Banana Republic led by criminal cartels to terrorise law-abiding citizens. SANs [South Africans] are in deep trouble.”

Eswatini’s parliament and civil society have not yet issued any public response, leaving citizens alarmed and uncertain about their safety.
