Man Suffers Serious Injuries After Wife Allegedly Bites His Private Parts
A Dzivarasekwa 2 man is reportedly fighting for his life in hospital after his wife allegedly bit his private parts during a heated domestic dispute over claims of an extramarital affair.
The incident allegedly happened on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, involving Munyaradzi Pondi, 33, and his wife, Sharline Rutendo Munenga, 29.
H-Metro reported the case on Friday, September 11, with Munenga appearing before a Harare magistrate facing physical abuse charges. She was remanded in custody.
Dzivarasekwa Dispute Turns Violent
The court heard that Munenga allegedly confronted Pondi after receiving information that he was involved with another woman.
The confrontation reportedly developed into a heated argument after she was dissatisfied with his response.
Munenga allegedly then attacked Pondi, biting his private parts and causing serious injuries.
The court heard that Pondi was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.
Wife Remanded In Custody
Munenga remains in custody following her court appearance as the case proceeds.
