A gang of five armed robbers stormed the building, terrorising six worshippers and making off with their valuables. The brazen attack occurred in the dead of night, around midnight, as the group was deep in prayer.
The assailants, their faces obscured by masks, were brandishing machetes as they burst into the place of worship. They immediately issued threats and demands, forcing the four men and two women present to hand over all their personal possessions. The congregants were left shaken but physically unharmed following the ordeal.
